Microblading is used for shaping and defining your eyebrows and giving them a thicker, fuller appearance. A specially designed microblading pen places pigment just beneath the skin using a fine-tipped point.

Every stroke has the appearance of a tiny, fine eyebrow hair and is artfully drawn with meticulous precision. The end result is natural, stunning results in the form of perfect and incredibly beautiful eyebrows.

Who is the Ideal Candidate for Microblading?

What Should I Do Before Microblading?

At your initial consultation, you’ll be given pretreatment recommendations to follow. These will include certain things to avoid one to two weeks prior to your microblading treatment. Some of the more common things to avoid include:

  • Blood thinning medications – prescription and over-the-counter
  • Excessive alcohol
  • Waxing, plucking, electrolysis, or laser treatments
  • Botox® or other fillers
  • Exposure to the sun
  • Omega-3 fish oil
  • Chemical peels or brow tinting

How Long Does It Take to Perform Microblading?

The procedure generally takes about two hours to perform. Short follow up sessions may be recommended to maintain or touch up the finished look.

What to Expect After Microblading?

It may take a few days for the redness and tenderness to subside, three or four weeks for the brows to totally recover, and up to a month before the color completely sets in. Typically there is no downtime needed after microblading.

After the treatment, you’ll be given specific instructions to follow to make sure you have as quick and successful recovery as possible.

Will I Have Scars After Microblading?

Microblading is considered a superficial procedure, with all the work predominantly performed only on the top layer of the skin. When the procedure is done properly, there are no scars.

When Will I See Results from Microblading?

Results can be seen right away, but it will take up to about three weeks for total and complete healing to occur.

What Are Possible Complications of Microblading?

Just like most cosmetic procedures, there are a few risks associated with microblading. Some of the most common include infection and allergic reactions. Risks are actually quite rare when proper health standards are maintained.
